Today I ventured on a horrible walk from the Olympia Stadion… or Olympic Stadium to my home. I picked a bad route, with not much in the way of sidewalks… in bitterly cold wind.
Whine whine whine.
But I have to admit that I wasnt feeling it today, even though I had some great, yet slightly embarrassing tunes.
Yah…. It even looks bleak today. All that gravel is from the snow we had, and are supposed to have again. While I was out, there was some sleet. Bleck.
But this is the stadium from the 1936 olympics and the 2006 world cup! Did you know that the Olympic torch relays, so big and involved these days, were the brainchild of Dr. Joseph Goebbels… the *tiny* nazi propaganda minister?
Supposedly, somewhere in the buildings at the stadion, there is a room of original WWII era weapons, walled up and plastered over by the British. If you could find them, and get them out, they would be worth a fortune to collectors.
Not much to say this evening… I am too tired. It was a 2 aleve night.
This is your training. Check it out!
